Headlight Restoration
Clear lenses put light back on the road
Oxidised polycarbonate sanded back, polished clear and resealed with UV protection so it does not yellow again next season.
Headlight lenses are polycarbonate with a UV coating that eventually breaks down. As it fails the lens clouds, scattering light instead of projecting it, and night visibility drops well before anyone notices the change.
Restoration sands the degraded layer back through progressive grades, polishes the lens optically clear, and applies a fresh UV coating.
Why the sealing step matters
A polish alone looks right for a few months and then yellows faster than before, because the protective layer is gone entirely. The resealing step is what makes the repair last, and it is the step most commonly skipped.
